Dr. Daniel D’Lima is the owner and principle dentist at Southwood Dental. He graduated from the University of Alberta with his Bachelor of Medical Sciences, followed by his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2012. He has practiced at this location ever since graduation, and has taken over ownership of the practice in 2019. You will love his friendliness, his caring demeanor and his calm sense of confidence that he brings to each and every one of his patients.

Dr. D’Lima enjoys performing all aspects of general dentistry. He loves working with patients of all ages and focuses his efforts on preventative care. When he is not in the clinic, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, travelling and exploring new places, and enjoys trying different types of food whether out at a restaurant or at home cooking up a storm.

Dr. Jordana Tarrabain joined the Southwood Dental team in 2017 She graduated from the University of Alberta with her Bachelor of Sciences followed by her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2017 from the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry in London, Ontario. Being an Edmontonian, Jordana knew she wanted to return to her hometown to practice dentistry. Since graduation she has practiced in the Edmonton area finding a home at Southwood Dental.

Dr. Tarrabain enjoys all aspects of dentistry and is committed to the highest level of patient care. Her kindness and knowledge will make her patients feel relaxed and enjoy visiting the dental office. Dr. Tarrabain loves working with children. She is a member of the Alberta Dental Association and College and the Canadian Dental Association.

In her spare time, Dr. Tarrabain enjoys spending time with family and friends. When she’s not in the office, you can find her at yoga or boxing classes around the city. She keeps busy with her dog Ernie the Min-Pin.

Dr. Chiao-Ling Kuo (Julie) joined the Southwood Dental team in 2020. She graduated from the University of Alberta with her Bachelor of Science in Immunology and Infection and Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science. This is followed by her dental degree in 2018 at Queensland, Australia. Dr. Kuo worked in a medical laboratory and left the field to enter a career that would allow her to build long-lasting relationships with her patients and community. Dr. Kuo also speaks fluent Mandarin.

Dr. Kuo enjoys performing all aspects of general dentistry and getting to know all of her patients personally. She is committed to providing high quality dental care to help her patients maintain a healthy smile. Her caring nature and genuine personality will help patients of all ages feel at ease during their visit. When she is not practicing dentistry, she enjoys traveling and experiencing new cultures.
